About Your Coach, Anita Bruton

Anita Bruton My name is Anita Bruton and I am the heart and soul of Anita's Professional Writing Services.

I established Anita's Professional Writing Services after four years of providing a variety of freelance services during which time I experienced firsthand the difficulties of building a successful business.

During that time, I never gave up! Failure was never an option.

Because I am dedicated and driven to become a successful woman entrepreneur, I have a true desire to help other women overcome the difficulties they encounter on the road to realizing their dreams of entrepreneurship and business success.

Time and time again, I found myself offering help to other entrepreneurs in a number of ways, from setting up their Outlook to answering RFP's to writing copy for their websites. I am a helper and a giver by nature.

I have always loved to write. I enjoy writing and love to make words come alive. After much soul searching, I decided that writing is in my heart and helping and teaching others is my passion. I needed to find a way to combine writing with helping and educating others.

I decided the time was right to offer services designed to help entrepreneurs market and promote their business, product, and services more successfully. The question was, what could I offer that hasn't been offered before. How could I use my passion to do just that?

It occurred to me that when a person is looking to change careers or jobs, they use a resume and cover letter to market themselves and their services. How could I relate this to the entrepreneur? How can an entrepreneur market themselves to their potential clients using the concept of a resume?

My conclusion was that by writing a professional profile, the entrepreneur would have a polished marketing tool  showcasing her achievements along with letting the potential client into her personal life just a little bit, but enough to generate the know, like and trust factor.

I coach small, home-based and Internet entrepreneurs to write and use their professional profiles as an influential, effective marketing tool.

I am on the board of directors of the WBO (Women Business Owners) and I am the Events director. My largest current project is coordinating the 1st Annual Conference of Women Business Owners to be held in Houston this October. I am also the leader and organizer of the Greater Milwaukee Professional Women's Networking Group. 

I currently live in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I am happily married to my wonderfully supportive husband, Tom. I have two children, three precious and adorable grandsons and one granddaughter. We are also expecting another grandchild in September, 2008. Outside of building and developing Anita's Professional Writing Services, I enjoy spending time with my husband, doting on my grandchildren, and playing Bingo. I also enjoy the Celebrity Apprentice and American Idol.
