Writing Your Profile: 3 Tips To Get You Going

Posted in Business Profiles, Personal Profiles, Professional Profiles, Profile Writing at 11:24 pm by Anita Bruton

Tonight I’d like to share with you three tips to writing your professional profile.

These are part of my complimentary 20 tip report. If you like these, I know you’ll like the whole report.

You can receive the report by subscribing in the box on the right.

1. What makes you unique? Look for those aspects about you – your personality, history, motivation - that make you different from others. Use details to express these traits. Don’t just tell why you are unique, show why you are unique.
2. Highlight your company’s unique strengths. What do you believe are the top three advantages your company has over other businesses in your industry or niche? Describe to your reader why you have these advantages over your competitors.

3. Reflect on who you are. You are creating a brand message. The product, which is you and your company, has strengths and weaknesses. Your goal in writing your profile is to find and articulate a clear and compelling message that appeals to your potential client, employee, lender, vendor or other reader of your profile. Develop stories about challenges you have faced, lessons you have learned, and achievements you have reached.

There you have it, a sample of what you’ll get in my complimentary 20 Tip report. Enjoy!

Warmly,

Anita
